This smoothie works as a great dessert, especially if you use a frozen banana, then it will turn out more like a milkshake!

1 | banana, frozen works best, but fresh works too
1/2 cup | plant milk
2 tbsp | almond butter
1/2 tsp | chia seeds
1 tbsp | maple or date syrup
1/2 tbsp | roasted carob powder
ice, to thicken as needed
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for several minutes. If you prefer a thinner smoothie, more milk can be added slowly until you get the desired texture. If you used a fresh banana, ice can be added to thicken it up more!
