This smoothie works great as a great dessert, especially if you use a frozen banana, then it will turn out more like a millkshake!

I often make this the night before and keep it in the fridge overnight, just give it a good shake in the morning! The carob powder adds a nice depth of flavor, if you have it!

This week's recipe is Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai with Tempeh. I am not a big fan of just spaghetti squash and sauce, plus any tomato sauce gives me acid reflux issues! So I wanted a recipe that was both tasty and creative so I made this and it worked out very well! Don't like tempeh? No problem just substitute for your preferred protein! Well I'm not gonna lie, I've kinda dropped the ball this month on recipes. Life was getting super busy and I lost my notebook that I write down recipes in, so that's why I haven't posted in a couple weeks. Hopefully a new recipe will be out on the 1st and we will start off March strong. My follower numbers keep going up and I'm amazed at how many people have followed even over the time I haven't posted. In the meantime heres a picture of an Asian inspired breakfast; fish, carrots, broccoli and rice with a soy sauce ginger sauce and sesame seeds to garnish. Thanks for sticking with me!
This weeks recipe is a simple and easy to make side dish; Pasta with Collard Greens and Lemon Zest. Most of the time lemons are a no-go for people with acid reflux, but fortunately for us, the zest has all the flavor without the acidity of the juice!
